Most American workers favor leadership styles commonly associated with women, according to research from Pershing. The research found that most people would rather work with leaders who use techniques such as listening and asking questions, and the majority of respondents associated these leadership tactics with women. "However, the research shows that a gap still exists between the acceptance of management style and the actual preferences in leadership choices," said Kim Dellarocca, Pershing's global head of practice management and segment marketing.
