Short video ads that can't be skipped scored a 92% completion rate on mobile, far outpacing the 9% rate for ads with a skip option, according to a Mobile Marketing Association study that benchmarked video ads based on ad length, time of day, operating system and engagement. The study also found that mobile applications account for three-quarters of video ads delivered to consumers on the go, and devices running iOS account for 80% of ad volume.
