Global spending on digital advertising across a wide range of devices is projected to hit $137.53 billion this year, according to eMarketer. Spending will increase 14.8% compared to 2013 and will represent 25.3% of total media ad spending. The U.S. is projected to remain the largest digital ad spender through 2018, holding roughly 40% of the total market each year.
