The U.S. is poised to become a key global supplier of liquefied petroleum gas, thanks to the shale natural gas revolution, said Walt Hart, IHS senior director of natural gas liquids research. The U.S. is expected to export up to 0.8 million barrels of LPG per day by 2020, surpassing all other global exporters, he said.
