Data presented at the Society of General Internal Medicine meeting revealed use of a Web-based learning curriculum known as Caring with Compassion helped improve clinician scores assessing their knowledge of public health and bio-psychosocial care, preparing them for serving at-risk populations, researchers said. "Our fundamental goal is to improve knowledge, skills, and attitudes for our learners, but also, hopefully, to improve their confidence and ability in providing care to the sickest patients, particularly in situations that have been called our ambulatory ICUs," said Dr. Davoren Chick.
