Mobile users are resistant to video on their devices for a number of reasons, according to various surveys. They find videos time-consuming, and particularly annoying if they stall or stutter. They are also wary of the costs associated with data consumption over 3G and 4G networks. However, mobile users are much more receptive to video when on Wi-Fi networks, suggesting that ad strategies should deliver video this way, this article suggests.
