New technology has been replacing the neon signs that were once the signature of Hong Kong's nightlife. M+, a visual culture museum slated to open in 2017, aims to preserve a bit of that neon past -- it has obtained two iconic 1970s neon signs, and it's asking the public to submit stories and photos to document more of the city's neon signs.
