NBCUniversal said it may use an automated ad-buying exchange to sell some TV ads this spring. Private exchanges are more popular among digital advertisers, but NBCUniversal's move would make it one of the largest TV companies to use an exchange to sell both TV and Web ads. "We're prepared to make inventory available this year. That could include TV," said Linda Yaccarino, president of advertising sales.
