A delay imposed by city inspectors because of concerns about a ventilation system has proved fortuitous in at least one way, allowing Mu Brewery founder Nathan Flatland to make sure everything is in order for a grand opening. "The good news is that with this little bit of lag time what we’ve decided to do was go make sure we have everything up to compliance," Flatland said. However, he said he should have anticipated the problem, having noted other brewers' elaborate ventilation systems during site visits.
