The Internet is a mobile-only experience for many consumers in the developing world who skipped the PC experience common in advanced nations, writes Alec Oxenford, CEO of OLX, a Web classifieds company. Mobile has "created an entirely new economy between customers" in places such as Brazil and India, he writes, noting that mobile "requires a fundamentally different mindset, and a commitment of focus and resources."
