Agency revenue in the U.S. increased 3.7% in 2013, and further growth is expected this year, according to an Ad Age DataCenter analysis. Agency employment is at its highest level since 2001, and stock prices have surged, powered by a growth in digital, which now accounts for 35.3% of agency revenue. "Virtually all of our agencies are aggressively taking advantage of new technologies and communications platforms to broaden the scope of services they're offering to their clients," Omnicom's Randall Weisenburger said in February.
