Some schools in Florida are using superhero-themed classroom materials to teach science to elementary-school students. The pilot program, known as the Scientific League's Superhero Training Network, aims to help students prepare for upcoming state exams and excite them about science, technology, engineering and math. "It was like playing a game," 10-year-old fifth-grader Marcela Gaston said, "and at the same time we were learning science."
