Researchers polled more than 2,500 young people and found that 12% of 15- to 17-year-olds and 28% of 18- to 23-year-olds were exposed to direct-to-consumer tobacco marketing. Young adults were more likely than teens to be exposed to direct mailings and tobacco websites, according to the study published in the Journal of Adolescent Health.
