Toby Bloom serves as the New York Genome Center's deputy science director of informatics after managing data warehousing and business analytics at the Broad Institute for more than a decade. The NYGC is not simply a fee-for-service sequencing center; it is a research center with research projects of its own as well as for its 17 member institutions.
