Fourth- and fifth-grade students from West Madison Elementary School in Alabama wore yellow "Fund Gifted Education" T-shirts as they lobbied state lawmakers on Thursday for more money for gifted education. State Rep. Mac McCutcheon, who attended the presentation by students in the school's gifted program, said he wants to use the students' ideas to put together a resolution for lawmakers to consider next year.
