Posters at the Tribeca Film Festival included tags allowing attendees with NFC-enabled mobile devices to tap for free tickets. The posters by mobile marketing firm Tamoco used HID Global's Trusted Tags and drew more than 8,000 taps. The film fest "was an ideal canvas to showcase the ubiquitous nature of the Trusted Tag technology and how simply it could be put into action," HID's Mark Robinton says.
