A woman reached a $32,500 settlement with the University of Colorado in February regarding a Title IX complaint after reporting that she was sexually assaulted, documents show. The complaint led to a federal investigation, which has not concluded, into possible Title IX violations at the university. The woman said that after her assailant was given an eight-month suspension, it took the school four weeks to remove the man from campus and that he contacted her several times despite an order forbidding him to do so.
