Hands-on workshops ranging from data visualization to cocoa-making were highlighted at TeenTech 2014, a one-day program that immerses high-school girls in science, technology, engineering and math. About 120 girls attended the event, sponsored by the American Association of University Women's New Jersey chapter and Georgian Court University in Lakewood, N.J., where the program was held. Established to close the gender gap in STEM, TeenTech has been held for 15 years at various sites.
