Programmatic ad buying is becoming increasingly prevalent in the U.K., where research conducted by MTM for IAB U.K. finds that 47% of digital display ads will be purchased programmatically this year, a figure that will jump to 60% to 75% by 2017. That's up from 28% in 2013, when programmatic buys accounted for 37% of ad trading on mobile.
