The final steel beam has been lifted into place for the $400 million new headquarters of PNC Financial Services Group in Pittsburgh. The 33-story tower is now 48% complete, according to the company, and is on track for its fall 2015 opening. The tower will recycle most of its water and be more energy efficient than traditional buildings. It is also "the only true, double-skinned building under construction in America," said Gary Saulson, PNC's director of corporate real estate.
