Previews of a 17-story water slide -- certified the world's tallest -- were delayed because of problems with a conveyor system that hauls the ride's 100-pound four-person rafts to the top. The slide at the Schlitterbahn Waterpark in Kansas City, Kan., propels its raft riders at speeds up to 70 miles per hour.
