A lobbying group in Tennessee called Red White and Food began a statewide signature gathering campaign at grocery stores this week in an effort to garner support for local ballot referendums. In localities where the referendum passes, grocery stores will be allowed to begin selling wine in July 2016. "The wine issue will not make it onto the November 4th ballot unless the required number of ballot signatures is collected in each community," said state Rep. Antonio Parkinson.
