Colorado veterinarian Ed Blach and his business partner Jim Chiapetta will be watching the Belmont Stakes with great interest this weekend, as California Chrome goes after the Triple Crown sporting their Flair Nasal Strip, designed to ensure sufficient air flow into the lungs. "Our objective is to keep horses healthy with the least amount of intervention," Dr. Blach explained. "Our thought all along was that equine events in general should reduce lung stress. The industry should benefit from having a product that does that without drugs. It's common sense."
