Spectators attending sporting events in stadiums across the United States are finding it easier to stay connected while in their seats thanks largely to a push from AT&T to be a leader in distributed antenna systems. The carrier has 670 DAS systems in place and expects to deploy another 250 this year. As AT&T senior executive vice president John Donovan explains, an early lead as the primary provider of iPhone connectivity put pressure on the company to boost capacity.
