The county clerk in Boulder, Colo., on Wednesday began issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples despite the state's ban on marriage equality. Earlier in the day, Utah's marriage equality ban was ruled unconstitutional by a federal appeals court with a jurisdiction that includes Colorado. The attorney general of Colorado has indicated that the state won't recognize same-sex marriage licenses as valid until the courts have fully resolved the issue.
