The 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Chicago on Friday combined and expedited the schedule for marriage equality cases in Indiana and Wisconsin, two states that saw their marriage bans struck down by federal judges. The expedited schedule means that briefs must be filed by Aug. 4, leaving open the possibility that the issue could be decided before this year's general elections. Arguments will take place Aug. 13.
