A majority of technology executives say they plan on spending more this year on IT solutions that help them lower costs, boost security and increase network resiliency, but they won't be making those purchasing decisions alone, a survey from UBM Tech shows. Chief information officers are responsible for pulling the trigger on tech purchases, but they rely heavily on their colleagues to guide IT decisions, with an average of 12 people in on the decision-making process, the study says.
