Computer scientists at some of America's leading engineering colleges are working to index millions of Internet files into a single program that robots can draw on to learn how to be more helpful. Dubbed "Robo Brain," the system leverages YouTube videos, photographs and documents to facilitate "structured deep learning" which, among other things, would enable robots to learn what certain objects are used for and how humans put them to use.
