The Acquity Group, an e-commerce and digital marketing agency within Accenture, surveyed more than 2,000 U.S. consumers and found that 13% plan to purchase an in-home Internet of Things device by the end of 2015. That percentage jumped to 69% when the respondents were asked if they would own an IoT device by 2019, according to Acquity.
