Wells Fargo is setting up an accelerator to help bootstrap companies focusing on financial-services technology. The Wells Fargo Startup Accelerator will invest between $50,000 and $500,000 in each startup selected for its six-month "boot camp" for entrepreneurs. "We'd been seeing incubators and accelerators all over Silicon Valley and said, 'Why don't we do that?' " said R&D chief Bipin Sahni.
