An analysis from Citigroup found that, in effect, Amazon receives a discount from the US Postal Service for delivering its packages compared with companies such as United Parcel Service or FedEx. According to Josh Sandbulte, co-president of Greenhaven Associates, this creates an unfair advantage, especially since about two-thirds of Amazon's deliveries are made by the Postal Service with low rates unavailable to competitors.
