Analysis: Android updates lag
As Android's user base has doubled in the past three years, the proportion of devices whose software is out of date has only grown, according to an analysis by hardware engineer Dan Luu. More than 1 billion Android devices are more than 2 years out of date, Luu says, and it appears the adoption of new Android updates is slowing.
