- Book distributor to expand following acquisition
Book distributor Perseus Distribution is planning to open a third distribution center and hire 120 to 150 additional employees in order to accommodate the more than 100 new clients it received following the acquisition of Avalon Publishing Group. - Brightpoint enters deal with Sonim Technologies
Brightpoint GmbH, a German subsidiary of Brightpoint Inc., has reached an agreement with Sonim Technologies Inc. to market, sell and distribute the GSM handset provider's XP1 handsets throughout Europe. "The XP1 is a truly unique device that addresses the communications needs of mobile workforces, in a relatively unserved segment that represents a new market opportunity for Brightpoint and our customers," said Brightpoint's vice president for Western Europe Wireless Design & Development
