United Stationers Inc., a distributor of business, janitorial and industrial products, says second-quarter sales rose nearly 10% to $1.25 billion. Weyerhaeuser, the timber company and diversified manufacturer, is facing increasing pressure from some investors to transform itself into a REIT.
