- Web becomes purchase point for MRO products
Distributors are using the Web more often to sell their MRO products, as buyers get more comfortable with online sources, Pembroke Consulting says in a report. "People get very used to consumer Web sites where they can quickly check the status of an order without having to pick up the phone," said one wholesaler-distributor's marketing communications and e-business director.
