  • Sysco dismisses report of agreement to start online food biz
    Contrary to an Aug. 18 news report based on what reportedly was a statement released by Dezina Marketing Inc., Sysco Corp. says it has not agreed to form with Dezina an online grocery business targeting residential consumers. Sysco said Dezina is a customer, but the food distributor added that it has had no talks with the company about a venture in which Sysco products would be delivered to customers who place their orders online.   • Air Liquide announces price increases
    Come Sept. 1, Air Liquide America Specialty Gases will raise its helium prices between 20% to 25%, while its prices for cylinder oxygen, hydrogen, acetylene, carbon dioxide and other gas products will be increased by 5% to 20%.
