Communications, technology and entertainment execs on center stage at NXTcomm 2007
Today, industry visionaries offered a glimpse of the future for the rapidly evolving industry from NXTcomm's keynote stage. Verizon's Ivan Seidenberg led off the morning session and talked about how Verizon's investment in cutting-edge networks will forever change consumers' communications and entertainment experiences. Motorola's Ed Zander shared his perspective on what's next for consumers, including Motorola's new Follow Me TV product. GE's Bob Wright shared the entertainment industry's views on the future for the converging communications industry. The morning session concluded with a lively panel discussion moderated by CNBC's Maria Bartiromo featuring NTIA's John Kneuer, Ambassador David Gross and FCC Commissioner Jonathan Adelstein.
