Possible tax reform has business groups working together

The Tax Relief Coalition, lead by NAW President Dirk Van Dongen, was formed in 2001 to help get President George W. Bush's tax cut passed in Congress. It worked then, and now the group of top trade organizations is being called upon again as a tax bill, dubbed "the mother of all reforms," has been promised by Rep. Charlie Rangel, D-N.Y. "We don't know exactly what Rangel will propose," Van Dongen said, "but there's enough conversation out there to be concerned, and to respond."  Washington Post, The (10/02)
