Pond alleviates Florida community's flooding problem
Engineers in Jupiter, Fla., constructed a 10-acre, 1,400-foot-long pond to capture excess water and allow it to drop safely back into groundwater as a resolution for flooding that occurred in the area after heavy rain. Contract Site Services was tapped to conduct the work, which included site clearing and dewatering the top seven feet of the site. Associated Construction Publications/Dixie Contractor (03/20)
