USTelecom Calls Pretexting Order "Anti-Consumer"
The FCC released new rules Monday for securing consumer proprietary network information (CPNI). McCormick said the rules were "anti-consumer" and went far beyond protecting the legitimate privacy interests of call-detail information to preventing any marketing of new services, bundled offerings and new applications that can save consumers money.
