Black Friday coming early for retailers wary of slow season

Reflecting their concerns about a weak holiday shopping season, Wal-Mart, Toys "R" Us and other major retailers will start offering big discounts and special deals this Friday, about three weeks ahead of the traditional post-Thanksgiving sales.
