Study: Most use cells for calls, text, not games or video

Only 5% of mobile users watch videos on their cell phones, according to a new study from Interpublic Group's Initiative. The research also showed that 18% of consumers have checked their e-mail, surfed the Web or downloaded a game on their mobile device. The one significant growth area was music -- at 16%, the number of consumers listening to music on the cell phones was double what it was last year.  Brandweek/Adweek (07/11)
