Whole Foods to end plastic-bag use by Earth Day
Whole Foods Market is planning to ban disposable plastic shopping bags in all its 270 stores across the U.S., Canada and the U.K., starting April 22 -- Earth Day. Instead of plastic bags, Whole Foods will offer consumers several options, including paper bags and reusable plastic and canvas bags.
