European telecoms seek higher frequencies

A shortage of airwaves in Europe has forced telecoms to look for new, higher frequencies that enable wireless customers to watch mobile TV. Since these frequencies are costlier, mobile-handset makers, telecom operators and, ultimately, cell-phone users likely will experience rising costs, Reuters reports.
