SingTel to acquire 30% of Pakistan's Warid Telecom

Singapore Telecommunications has announced that it will buy a 30% stake in Pakistan's third-largest mobile operator, Warid Telecom, for an estimated $758 million. Warid, part of the Abu Dhabi Group, launched in 2005 and has nearly 9.7 million subscribers. cellular-news (U.K.) (06/29)
