Leila Kaseca

Leila Kaseca is a veteran high-school math teacher, coach and instructional leader in Shawnee, Okla., with more than 20 years of experience serving rural and Native American communities. Her work focuses on building student ownership, strengthening instruction and supporting teachers in high-need schools through data-informed and trauma-responsive practices. She is a member of Teach For America’s Rural School Leadership Academy – a leadership development program powered in partnership with several organizations: The Aspen Institute Policy Academy, Columbia Teachers College, Inspiring Educators, Leading Educators and TNTP.
