Apparel retailers refashion their return policies

Retailers including Macy's and Gap are extending their window for returns to encourage online shopping amid uncertainty about how long their stores will be closed because of the pandemic. Shoppers typically return about 17% of all clothing purchases, according to 1010data, and that percentage is likely to grow as more purchases are made online without shoppers being able to try things on, Happy Returns CEO David Sobie said.
