Hy-Vee has hired more than 10,000 employees in the past year to grow the capacity of its Aisles Online program, which has seen demand quadruple in that time. The $99 annual membership program offers delivery and pickup options, and while Hy-Vee spokeswoman Christina Gayman said the number of in-store shoppers has increased recently, the grocer believes "the convenience and time savings of the [Aisles Online] service will equate to a long-term change for many customers."
