Building on a program initiated by parent company Albertsons, Safeway is rolling out at-home COVID-19 test kits at its pharmacies in Maryland, Virginia, Delaware and Washington, D.C. The kits can be picked up or delivered once patients fill out a questionnaire, with their saliva samples sent to a New York lab and results expected in about 72 hours.
