McDonald's donated BET Awards ads to Black community

McDonald's handed over the majority of its Sunday evening media buy during the BET Awards to Black business owners and activists with spots featuring individuals such as The Lip Bar founder and CEO Melissa Butler and photographer Mark Clennon. The brand also aired a "Dreams" spot from Burrell Communications Group that highlights its commitment to the Boys & Girls Club of America and is set to a version of "To Be Young, Gifted and Black" by Nina Simone.
